An admission from a former smuggler.

There was a reason for the lack of information the many months since I've last recorded. Many things have gone on. As well as many things have gone terribly wrong. I've lost many friends in this time. All I fear were due to my new found abilities.

As such, this is as much as I can recall from my last recording. Take this as perhaps a confession for my crimes.

It all started when I met up with surgeon on Dantooine. If I remember correctly he lead me to the Kunga. One of the native tribes on that world. I was to acquire artifacts for the house. Of which I was unsuccessful. Many Kunga's died in our small raids. I know V'tal wanted peaceful negotiations with these people, but blood had been spilled by my and many other hands. Through all the bloodshed and violence I felt something. Deep within my being, calling me, driving me towards a goal.

I had a feeling things were different then. I would find myself gravitating to various places on that planet. Old ruins that people thought were from the old Jedi order. I found few artifacts of worth there, except for a blue cube buried deep in the ruins. It seemed to call to me. I tried to examine it.

It was several hours later when surgeon found me. My body was a mess, as if I'd been through a great battle, and were forgotten among the dead. However there was no evidence of anyone near me. I spent the next three days in a bacta tank. Kurgen notified the house, and the asked for my return as soon as I was able. The evening that I emerged from the bacta tank, I bid Kurgen farewell and The Narglach's Tooth took off from Dantooine. As the stars streaked their way into hyperspace, I went back to my cabin for some sleep.

My dreams were restless, I kept dreaming of a dark and feral world that I'd been to only a few times, and not for very long. Dathomir's beasts and storms haunted me as I slept. A deep impenetrable mist and a small village of outcasts were among the visions I dreamt. It seemed to be calling me.

I when I arrived on Tattoine, visions hadn't stopped. In fact they had gotten stronger and stronger. I arrived in Da'Vinci shortly after landing, the visions were coming to me while I was awake. I found it difficult to brief Kora V'tal about what had happened. He seemed to notice and said quietly "You seem distracted Captain, are you fully recovered or is there something else?"
"...Just a bit of a headache." I replied, "Nothing that a little time can't take care of."
"Hmm, perhaps. I would like for the captain of our space guard to be in peak condition. I would like you to meet up with I'lshara, my sister. I suspect this 'headache' of yours is a little more than medicine and rest can solve"
"Yes sir, I will meet with her"

I bowed and left the chamber. I went to my office briefly, reached in my pocket and pulled out the cube that i found in the ruins. I rotated it in my hand, the cube glowed brighter as i stared at it, I heard a whisper and i put it down hastily. I turned around in my office but saw nobody. I shrugged it of. I left headquarters and got on my speeder, and i headed towards I'lshara's small chapel on the western side of the city.

Happy Landings

I was roused by an alarm ringing in my cabin. I crawled out of my bunk and checked it. The Narglach Tooth was about to come out of hyperspace. I stretched and made my way to the bridge. The computer signaled and I pulled back the hyperspace engines. For a brief moment I was weightless before the sub-light engines engaged. I checked my position and found I was where I was supposed to be. As I pointed my ship towards the space station I felt a blaster bolt hit the ship. The ship rocked as I tried to put up my shields. I grab the headset and hear a Black Sun pilot demand I lower my shields and surrender. I cursed in huttise as I slammed the engines to their max.

I broke away from the Kihraz fighters briefly. Checking the radar, I found a squad of Imperial ships to my starboard side. Figuring the Black Sun like me less that the Empire does I urged my ship in that direction. Slowly the Black Sun fighters came back within firing range. A few hits on the rear quarter later, the shield began to buckle. I reached over to the co-pilot's controls, flipped a couple of levers. The lights dimmed as all power was transferred to the engines. I was forced back in my seat as the engines thrusted even more. Finally the Imperial slugs took notice. They turned and engaged the Black Sun.

Both of their attention distracted I made my way back toward the space station. My engines slowed as the emergency power was drained. Luckily I reached the station with no other problems popping up. I requested clearance and landed on the surface.

I landed and paid the fee. I then was met by my old friend Kurgen. Kurgen was a bounty hunter in his olden days. He now works as a field medic on distant outposts like this. We met and shook hands. He took me to the cantina and there we discussed what has happened to him during the years, how he likes his current assignment. I asked him about the local population, and how I can get in contact with them. He gave me a few locations where I might find their leaders. I thanked him for his help and headed out the next morning.

I started out by visiting the Kunga. They didn't take well to the translator droid, and he was scrap quickly. They took to me with equal disdain and I had the fight of my life on my hands.

No rest for the weary...

After a week of hard training with my sensi in the deserts of Lok, I make it home to Tattoine. My flame, Pampi, greets me at the door with a loving embrace and a corellian ale. We both head upstairs and "catch up" on the lost week.

During the cold Tattoine night I can't sleep. Space lag perhaps. But then again I could never get used to a solid foundation. I pace the house during the night and check my messages. Nothing too substantial. Training reports from a few young pilots, house shipping schedules, and some Imperial filtered news. I head upstairs and try to catch some sleep.

In the morning I head to headquarters and sit at my desk. I start unpacking some of the boxes that have been sitting on it for months. A chuckle slips my lips as I unpack a box. Perhaps I have gone "respectable." Just then, a pale blue twi'lek woman walks through my door. Nass Sicean. We talk for a bit about the martial arts, and techniques. She lends me a belt that apparently will improve my speed. I thank her and ask her the real reason why she's here. She tells me that I have new orders from the top. Apparently Kora Fion wants me to meet up with some primitives on the planet Dantooine, and to acquire some of their artifacts. I tell her I'll leave this afternoon for Dantooine. She smiles and leaves my office.

I put down the box I was trying to unpack, and head to the Bocatt Cantina. Pampi is just opening it up when I arrive. I tell her I have to go again. She nods and we kiss. I jump back on the speeder and head to Bestine. I get the Tooth ready and then launch. I clear Tattoine and start to input the hyperspace coordinates. The navacomputer signals ready, the hyperspace engines thrust on as the stars streak by...

First Entry

Personal Log

I have created this log in order to keep a record of the major events in my life. This is a large galaxy and a lot can get lost in it. Chance is a fickle thing, and if chance suddenly frowns on me, then there will be a record.
